Private AI chat on Windows, with the app coming soon
GPT-6, Claude, Gemini and more for Windows, free and private. The desktop app is coming soon. Use Quad in your browser on any PC today.
Use Quad on Windows today
macOS and Linux are available now in public beta. Windows is coming soon. Until the Windows build ships, Quad runs fully in Edge, Chrome or Firefox at quad.chat. You can chat with GPT-6, Claude, Gemini and more, search the web with citations, make images, documents and slides, and keep projects in sync with your phone. No install and no account needed to try it. Guest chat works right away. A free account keeps your chats and includes 100 credits every month. When the Windows app ships, sign in and everything is already there.
What the Windows app adds
Quad Agent, a desktop AI agent that edits files, runs commands in a real terminal and checks results in a browser, inside folders you choose. Up to eight agent tasks at once, each reviewed as a diff before you commit. A 64-bit installer with background updates and a signed release manifest.
Every leading model, one app
Each lab's own app runs only that lab's models. Quad puts them side by side. Models (Quad: GPT-6, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek and more; One lab's own app: That lab's models only). Switch models mid-chat (Quad: Yes, with the context kept; One lab's own app: No). Training on your chats (Quad: Never, on any plan; One lab's own app: Depends on the vendor and your settings). Price to start (Quad: Free, 100 credits a month; One lab's own app: Free tiers vary, paid plans often $20 a month). Leave the picker on Smart and Quad chooses a model for each message, or pick one yourself. A quick question can go to a fast model and a hard one to the strongest, without paying for three subscriptions. Quad gives you the models, not each vendor's own app features.
More than chat
Cited web search, so you can check where every answer came from. AI images in Image Studio, and AI video on the Ultra plan. Documents, slides, sheets, forms and diagrams you edit together with Quad beside the chat, then download as Word, PowerPoint or PDF. Projects that keep files, chats and instructions together for one piece of work. Chat with your PDFs, Word files and spreadsheets on models that read them. All of it works in the browser on Windows today and comes along unchanged when the desktop app arrives.
Private on every device
Quad never uses your chats or files to train AI models, on any plan, free included. There is no setting to find. Quad never sells your data and never shares workspace content with advertisers. On the Private Lane, chats go only to model providers under a Zero Data Retention agreement, so the provider keeps nothing after it answers. Models without a ZDR route ask you to confirm first. Chats and files are encrypted in transit and at rest, and you can export or delete them yourself at any time. Incognito chats stay out of your history, and their temporary data is deleted from Quad's servers within an hour. The details, and where privacy stops, are on the private AI chat page and the zero data retention page.
