Delete your Quad Chat account or data

1. Delete your account from the app

In the Quad Chat mobile app: open Settings (tap your profile in the sidebar), scroll to the bottom, and tap "Delete account". Confirm the request in the dialog.

On the web at quad.chat: open Settings → Account and choose "Delete account".

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. The app lets you delete immediately, but billing continues until you cancel through Settings → Subscriptions on iOS or Play Store → Payments & subscriptions on Android; app stores do not let us cancel store-billed subscriptions on your behalf.

2. Or request deletion by email

Email privacy@quad.chat from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We verify the request against your sign-in email and process it like an in-app request.

3. Delete data without deleting your account

You can delete parts of your data while keeping your account: "Clear chat history" in Settings permanently removes all conversations; individual conversations, uploaded files, generated images, prompts, memories, and projects can each be deleted from within the app.

You can also email privacy@quad.chat to request deletion of specific data categories, or request an export of your data from Settings → "Export my data".

4. What is deleted, what is kept, and for how long

Deleted after your request is processed: your profile (name, email, picture), conversations and messages, uploaded files and attachments, generated images and videos, prompts, memories, custom instructions, preferences, connected integrations, and push notification tokens. AI processing pauses while deletion is pending. We aim to complete requests within the applicable legal deadline. Vendor failures or retention reviews remain visible as pending work; we do not mark full completion while required recipient work remains unresolved. Backup expiry depends on the verified retention cycle of the relevant provider; contact privacy@quad.chat for details.

Kept where the law requires it: billing and transaction records retained for applicable tax and accounting obligations, records of your deletion request itself, and information needed to resolve open disputes or enforce our terms. These records are retained in isolation and not used for any other purpose.

Anonymous or aggregated usage statistics that no longer identify you may be retained.
