Quad Chat vs Genspark: Autonomous Super Agent or a Workspace You Direct?
Genspark is good at going away and coming back with a finished deliverable. Its Super Agent takes a goal, plans the steps, calls several models and tools behind the scenes, and returns a slide deck, a spreadsheet, a research report or even a completed phone call. For "produce this for me" requests, that autonomy is genuinely impressive.
The core difference is who holds the controls. Genspark hides the models behind an agent that decides for you. Quad Chat puts the models in front of you: 101 chat models you choose per message, side-by-side compare, and a persistent workspace with projects, files, cited web search, Image Studio, automations and a sandboxed Computer.
Quick verdict: Choose Genspark if you want to hand over a goal and receive a finished deck, sheet or report without steering. Choose Quad Chat if you want to pick the model, compare answers before trusting them, and keep ongoing work in projects that carry context between sessions.

The real difference: who is in control
Genspark's promise is delegation: describe the outcome and the agent plans, browses, calls models and tools, and hands back something you can open. When the task is well defined and the output format is standard, that is a fast way to get a first version.
Quad's promise is control with less friction. You choose Claude Opus 5 for the careful analysis, switch to Gemini 3.x for the huge PDF, and let GPT 5.x write the summary, all in one conversation without losing context. If you do not want to choose, smart routing picks for you. Either way the choice is visible and reversible; in an agent product, the model behind your answer is often a detail you never see.
Quad's compare mode sends one prompt to two or three models side by side so you can see where they agree before you commit. Genspark returns one result, and checking it means running the job again.
Agents are a feature in Quad, not the whole product
Quad is not a chat box that stops at text. Its Computer is a sandboxed environment that runs commands, writes files and returns bundles. Automations run any prompt on a schedule, such as a weekly competitor digest. Apps connectors through Vercel Connect reach Notion, Google Workspace, Slack, Linear, Dropbox, Microsoft 365, Todoist and Spotify; MCP servers and Skills extend that further.
These pieces live inside the workspace you already use: the research thread, the PDF, the Image Studio output and the scheduled report all sit in the same project. Genspark is strongest when each job is a standalone run. Quad is strongest when the work is continuous.
Where Genspark is the better choice
Genspark deserves the shortlist if:
- you mainly want finished decks, sheets and reports generated end to end;
- you would rather describe an outcome than steer a conversation;
- agentic browsing and calls made on your behalf are part of your workflow;
- or you are comfortable letting the product decide which models to use.
For one-off deliverables, Genspark's approach can save real time.
Where Quad Chat is the better choice
Quad deserves the shortlist if:
- you want to choose from 100+ models, including the latest GPT, Claude and Gemini models, Grok 4.x, DeepSeek V4 and Mistral;
- you want to compare two or three models on the same prompt before relying on the answer;
- your work is ongoing and needs projects that carry files and context between sessions;
- you want Image Studio and video generation beside your chats;
- or your team needs one invoice, per-seat budgets and private member workspaces that admins cannot read.
Pricing and privacy
Quad's free plan includes 100 credits and 50 web searches per month with no credit card. Go is $8/month, Pro is $15/month, Ultra is $40/month with video, and Max is $200/month, with 15% off yearly. Team is $20 per seat and Business is $40 per seat, with one invoice and per-seat budgets.
Genspark offers free credits and credit-based paid plans; check its pricing page for how credits map to agent runs.
Quad does not train on your data, routes chats through Zero Data Retention provider routes where available, encrypts data in transit and at rest, and offers self-service export and deletion. See the security page.
Final verdict
Genspark is the right choice when you want to delegate a whole deliverable and accept the agent's choices. Quad Chat is the right choice when you want to direct the work: 100+ models you pick, side-by-side comparison, cited research, projects, images and automations in one workspace.
Delegation is convenient. Control is what you want when the answer has to be right.
